Centering on whimsical scenes, my works incorporate simple objects and absurd characters to portray surreal domestic spaces. My subject matter is daily life and dark humor, resulting from the confrontation with my subconsciousness. All of my work comes from my personal experience looking at objects, people, and their relationships from first and third person’s perspectives. I use humor in my work to ease the trauma of insecurity and depression. Trauma has influenced my work which functions as suspended narrative experiences deployed in uncanny spaces.
