Bio
Through the creation of garments that buoyantly defy the laws of dress and gravity, Holly Rae McClintock seeks to cater to the the belief that each and every one of us can be special. Her garments implement commercial imagery, cheap materials, and supersaturated visual information that capitalizes on the consumer ego, tapping into primal joys and desires.

We make wings for our backs, harnesses to hold our weight, rockets, roller coasters, parachutes. We breathe into existence fairies, witches, angels, and heroes that, unlike us, can traverse the open air with effortless strength. Our desire for freedom, independence, grace, and infallibility takes the form of the human in flight. Through dress we can transform our limited bodies, bound by the laws of the physical world, into creatures that can almost fly away.
