This collection is to create a sarcastic imagination of future, based on the overly expectation of being a perfect woman. The anxiety of socializing female to be what men wanted has been existed since ancient Greece, referencing the Greek myth “Galatea”.

Ana Wu is a Chinese international student currently attending the School of Art Institute Chicago as an undergraduate student. Her dream is to be a professional fashion designer. She works with various themes and forms of art—sculpture, painting, photography, fashion design… but mainly explores the possibility to tell a story through a collection of garments.
