My goal as a creative is first to educate the industry on real black culture (American culture). What is portrayed in the media, and passed down through generations is false and the true narrative needs to be taught. My second goal is to make the patrons of my work feel confident. When you put one of my pieces my intent is for you to feel royal, unstoppable, and to leave an impression. My third goal is to inspire. Growing up I had many role models, but not any in regards to successful careers in fashion and beauty. The African American community is filled with talent, but little resources or guidance is given for children or even adults to reach their full potential. I will use my platform to create that outlet.
