The pre-ancient Greek cult of Dionysus worshipped the process of wine. Followers participated in the ritual of decomposing fruit into a potion for which the body can be transformed into the god of madness, Dyonisus himself. The Flesh cloak imitates the cult’s ritual transformation of the psychological state for the possessive consumption of the human body. The cloaks texture resembles the natural decomposition of flesh which devours the human form taking possession of the wearer.
