Concept |
This piece celebrates my repressed erotic pleasures toward women which is a taboo in Asian-Chinese culture. This garment was made from a point of view of a myself as a child and my erotic affection in that time. According to my growing cultural background, I’d stood risk of damage and deconstruction. It was prohibited as well an innocent pleasure at the same time. This garment is based on a personal journal that reveals my vulnerability and fragility. Ultimately I realized my fantasy was violent since it never lacked of erotic aspects involved. Overall, this garment addresses my vulnerability, my desire and violence.
