Starting with the vein, the work encourages the viewer to consider the connection between actions and consequences in the circulatory system of an urban landscape. Human population, land, and infrastructure are considered as members of a single body; the growth and development of one aspect in conversation with the devastation of another. The twisting and turning of various moments in response to one another, illustrating the delicate balancing act between humans and nature.

Hope is a sophomore at SAIC from Ann Arbor, Michigan. She enjoys the recursive complexity of utilizing material, garment and wearable sculpture to critique in the environmental and economic impact of the 2.4 trillion dollar fashion industry, while simultaneously taking part.
