SEEN is an accumulation of LGBTQ+ visibility, identities and voices. Over one hundred LGBTQ+ people have participated in this work. An accumulation of over 200 words that participants use to self-identify themselves, spans across a forty foot long and seven foot tall paper mural. The text mural surrounds and supports photo portraits of participants wearing and claiming their identities. An audio recording of transgender statements fills the air of the installation. This work honors individuals and the power of people. Behind each participant is the mass of our inclusive community; a formation of LGBTQ+ people affirming our visibility.
