This knit collection is an exploration of tradition and experimentation, texture and dimension, density and lightness. I am drawn to the endless possibilities of transforming traditional knitwear into something new, and challenging our preconceived notions of what knitwear should be. I am also interested in confronting the traditional notions of comfort and coziness that we associate with knits. By subverting the familiar forms of knitwear and introducing unexpected elements, I aim to create pieces that are intriguing and unconventional, and ask of the viewer, or wearer, to reconsider their expectations of what knitwear can be.
