Staring down the barrel of early onset adulthood, artist Ellie Hall has begun to regress to her earlier years as a midwest tween. A self identifying video artist, feminist, and cyber witch, Ellie Hall reenacts narratives that exploit objecthood, validate insecurity, and celebrate friendship. Her obsession with girlhood comes from girlhoods obsession with itself, as she works to explore passion in the least romantic way possible. Wacky, wonderful, and weird, this new take on coming of age rewrites a history for the young women of The Cornbelt.
