I was born on the Island of Kauai, studying art for the past thirteen years before moving to Chicago to attend the School of the Art Institute. I am currently a senior with a focus on animation. I plan to continue to create, learn, and enjoy composing art to the fullest extent. I enjoy many forms of art, I have painted using oils, acrylics, and watercolors. My favorite painting is portrait work. I enjoy capturing someone’s image, but I also like to portray something that is important to my subject. Watercolor is my favorite media for landscapes. I found that this was the best way for me to depict a landscape especially in Hawaii because of the light and airy feel that the islands exude. Though I enjoy work in traditional media, I am now focusing on various animation techniques, hand-drawn animation, digital animation, experimental animation, and 3D digital animation.
