Christina Ballantyne
Christina Ballantyne’s work explores the struggles and rewards of intimacy and ones’ individual desires and goals. Her figurative works and psychological landscapes examine how emotions of longing, guilt, shame, and desire manifest themselves in everyday life and interpersonal relationships.
Christina has exhibited in group shows in Chicago and New York and had her first solo exhibition in Austin, Tx at Martha’s contemporary in 2019. She was recipient of the Helen Frankenthaler award in 2020.
