Olayinka Samuel Ogunleye was born in Nigeria, West Africa. After spending his early years in Nigeria, he moved to the US and earned his BA degree at Xavier University in Ohio, where he majored in Graphic design and Sculpture. He is also skilled in painting, illustration, and drawing. Currently, he is earning his master’s degree in Designed Objects at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He aspires to become a product designer after completing his master’s degree. The main drive for his practice is to consistently develop artistic techniques to encourage innovation, celebration, and improvement of things used to grease the wheel of daily life.
