Master of Architecture with an Emphasis in Interior Architecture

Xiaochen Cui is an interior architecture graduate student at the School of the art institute of Chicago. He has always been passionate about architecture and photography. Xiaochen is fueled by his passion for architectural function and the significance of every architectural form; he considers himself a “forever student” and continues to build on his knowledge and academic foundation. Becoming a licensed architect is his goal for the future. His hunger for understanding working architecture inspires him to pursue this direction.

Thesis Bio
Traffic congestion is a problem in major cities. My thesis proposes a new way to connect buildings directly to transportation systems to improve urban life, making it more pleasurable and less wasteful.
