Jess Bass uses play as both a process and aesthetic, anthropomorphizing everyday and discarded materials to build mimetic and uncanny performances and installations. Her work has been exhibited at Spring/Break Art Show, Detroit Art Week, Comfort Station, Terrain Biennial, Patient Info, and Site Gallery, and has been featured in The New York Times, Hyperallergic, ArtNews, PASTE, Fader, and MTV.
