Katey Jo Henry is a filmmaker, animator, and visual artist completing her MFA in the FVNMA department at SAIC. Throughout her time in graduate school, she has been writing screenplays, mastering animation software, and learning the art of stop-motion animation. In the future, she hopes to utilize the tools she has learned at SAIC to break into the wider filmmaking community of Chicago and continue pursuing personal artistic projects.
