The IMPACT Performance Festival 2023 will take place in-person at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) Galleries, located at 33 E. Washington Street on Friday, March 3, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, and Sunday, March 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Presenting live performances throughout the gallery, MFA and BFA students from SAIC will showcase their culminating projects.

Returning to the SAIC Galleries, the festival is featured alongside the work of students participating in the first Graduate Exhibition of 2023. Hosting IMPACT in the galleries allows for an immersive and interactive experience for both the artists and audience to experience new works and inhabit the SAIC Galleries in a whole new way.

This year, participating artists include Lula Asplund, Dorothy Carlos, castroduperly, FLEMING, Andy Giovale, sun Lynn Hunter, Anna Johnson, Carissa Lee, Mao, Gabe Postle, Mallory Yanhan Qiu, Judy Lea Steele, Arti Tefo, Nikki Telegan, Ricardo Vilas Freire,  and Kezia Waters.

Gather for a weekend of art and performance as we celebrate the dedication and hard work of the featured SAIC students finishing their degree.

The festival is free and open to the public. Registration is required. To book an appointment, please visit https://saicscheduling.as.me/IMPACT

Public visitors must show a state-issued ID upon entry.

If you are not able to attend in person, make sure you follow @saicperformance to experience the performances live on Instagram.

Persons with disabilities requesting accommodations should visit saic.edu/access.
