Anne Skaug


Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Fiber and Material Studies

Anne Skaug [b.1998, Rapid City, SD] is an American-Norwegian artist exploring notions of lineage, memory, and time. Employing a wide variety of materials including fibers, concrete, and found objects, she raises questions of the intersections between gender, labor, and ritual. Skaug recieved her BFA in Studio Art and BS in Outdoor Education from Black Hills State University in 2021. She is currently working towards her MFA in the Fiber and Materials Studies Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
