Cindy Ji (she/her, b.1997, Daejeon) is a photo based artist who uses photography and the process of taking pictures to mediate lost and changing relationships between her families living in two different countries, South Korea and the United States. Her most recent project bridges the relationship between her and her sister after being apart for fourteen years. Her photographs explore physical and emotional intimacy, performance, confrontation, and vulnerability.
