Eia Radosavljevic

Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts Degree

Defying confines of inter/intra/cross/multi/transdisciplinarity, Eia Radosavljevic’s decades-long career in the arts and art education is a non-delineated excursion through dance, fiber, writing and numerous other ways of creating and questioning. A child of WWII refugees, Eia’s first arts education was at home, followed swiftly by Junior School classes at the Art Institute of Chicago—the prize for winning a city-wide competition. She danced professionally from New York to Tokyo, Madrid to Las Vegas, etc., returning to Chicago upon her terpsichorean retirement to come full-circle at SAIC, as faculty. She has exhibited and instructed internationally, and is a frequent guest artist at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn.
