Emilia Lichtenwagner

Master of Fine Arts in Studio, Painting and Drawing

Emilia Lichtenwagner works with drawing as a means to record, dissect, laugh at, refute, demolish and love the world.

Her work consists of small units of attention usually recorded on paper, sometimes in other forms. She is a Chicago-based artist currently pursuing her MFA in painting and drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She previously studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in the drawing department, and came to the US on a Fulbright grant.
