Born and raised in Chicago, I am Lawrence X Pearson. I started LXAP Productions as a way to document my performances, and after many years in the entertainment industry, I have captured the moments of other artists using montage videos and special effects. I started my filming in 2012. Capturing the art form that has a special place in the heart of Chicago culture, and paying homage to the culture only elevates the fact that it never went away. Chicago culture has transcended the racial and cultural boundaries performing around the world in Japan, London and Germany, and major parts of the US. My relationship with work is not only being an active part of the dance community but also of the filming and showing outlets that save so many lives in Chicago.
