Lexi Herman is an interdisciplinary artist working with non-human and human perception, pattern recognition, and language. Investigating and looking for mirrors in the earth, Herman is interested in finding ways to see ourselves. Herman is currently an MFA Candidate at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Herman studied at Weißensee Kunsthochschule in Berlin, Germany, and received her B.F.A. from the University of Minnesota. She has been featured in group exhibitions at Hair and Nails, Minneapolis; Mana Contemporary, Jersey City; Konstnärshuset, Stockholm; and Art Zagreb, Zagreb, amongst others.
