Rin Visaney Scholtens

Rin Visaney Scholtens (b. 1993) is an artist, educator, and writer currently based in Chicago, IL. Fascinated by intuition and repetition, they are interested in the ways in which the mundane reveals intimacy, practice produces muscle memory, and habits become home. They received their Bachelor of Fine Art in Fabric Design from the University of Georgia and their Master of Fine Art in Fiber and Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. They now work as the Weaving Studio Supervisor at Friedman Place, a community for blind and visually impaired adults.
