Seonyoung LEE is a weaver, designer and installation artist based in Chicago, IL. She studied Industrial design at Hong-ik University in Korea with a BFA degree. She worked as a display designer at a fashion company for a decade after her undergraduate program . Worked in Shanghai, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Seoul. Currently, studying a graduate program in Fashion, Body and Garment at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a master’s degree. She engages with ideas about vulnerability regarding her personal discomfort with skin type. Recently, she is pursuing time-based installation work with weaving.
