Sharon Liang is a multimedia artist and illustrator based in Chicago and Taipei. She explores the fusion of traditional illustrations and digital mediums for storytelling. Her works focus on characters and their interaction with time, space, and objects. Liang awakens old memories and documents ongoing quests through her signature quirky, heartfelt touch.
Sharon Liang is currently working on her thesis film, Our Family Portrait. Our Family Portrait is an animated short film that documents the Liang Liang Family’s development of family tradition and silent understanding through time of changes. The Liang Liang Family is a team with five matchless individuals- Garlic Papa, Chili Mama, Natto Boy, Croissant Girl, and Cereal Grannie. They disassemble at times but will be conjunct. They are forever one. One body, one heart.
