Siyuan Zheng is from China and mainly focuses on womenswear. She has been working in the fashion industry for 2 years and gaining a clearer view of it after graduating from the China Academy of Art with her BA in Fashion Design. She has explored different ways to cover or expose body parts by using the spatial relationship between patterns and the human body. Focused on the construction of garments, and the value exchange between garments and the human body.

In her thesis collection, she references a story about her grandmother, pairing structured tailoring with the delicate nature of custom laser-cut lace patterns. This balance reflects the ebb and flow of life, of youth and old age, of love and dependence.
