Tian Wang (Amber) is an emerging artist, Filmmaker, and Documentary filmmaker from Shenzhen, China, currently residing in both Shenzhen and Chicago. Her works often utilize personal experience to engage the audiences in more extensive conversations regarding cultural dynamics and social patterns inspired by her own experience living and studying in different cultural backgrounds. Tian’s works are often very textural and use many intimate visual languages to depict abstract feelings and experiences. Tian Wang also believed in presenting the complex forms of cultural and generational ethnography through the depiction of individuality in video and documentary.
