Amanda Reid is a Vietnamese-American multimedia artist who specializes in video and photography. Her past work dealt with ideas of identity, home, and history as seen through her short non fiction films. In her recent work, she explores the nature of light and celestial bodies. Inspired by the natural elements above and around her, she explores ways to reflect and refract light, creating luminous projection installations that underscore the power of light space modulation.
