My practice is an ongoing inquiry into the poetics and politics of memory and loss. It is a search for forms of feeling-thinking-doing-making-moving that approach and unfold near the aftermath of the Salvadoran Civil War (1980-1992). My performance, sculpture and fiber-based works investigate how loss can be touched and how one is touched by the traces of trauma and collective memory.
