My work mediates a clown’s position between pleasure and power. The hyperbolic ephemeral logic of the clown is that of the queer. It is political, mystical, and erotic. In my practice drawings and paintings, large color gestures, and material sensitivities are installed with video projections creating ecologies of interior, exterior negotiations. Color operates at the affectual level weaving excitement and sensual fluidity between works and installation relationships.
