Woomin Kim works with the edge of things; where they meet with the world. The borderline vibrates as each side absorbs or reflects the other. She tries to gain physical intimacy with objects, the space, and even herself through touching, rubbing and sanding. By sanding objects, collecting residues she attempts to observe the vibrating edge, hidden materially or floating identity of the objects.

She earned BFA(2010), MFA(2012) in Seoul Nationality University and currently working and studying at School of Art Institute of Chicago. She had her solo show at Gallery Lamer in Seoul at 2013 and 2012.
