“My practice is a mixture of personal narratives and being voyeuristic. This duality is a reflection of my experiences and observations on moments of, casual intimacy, nightlife culture, pleasure and leisure and grandiose or mundane desires. I usually describe my work as a visual manifestation of the “weekend.”

I’ve always been captivated with the idea of people looking forward to decompressing or relieving themselves. It’s wild to see how people enthusiastically attempt to chase the idea of “fun.” You can’t predict what energy will emerge from those moments but that’s what leaves an impact on me. The energy that comes out may be fulfilling, poignant, heartbreaking, sincere or really anything! That unpredictability of leisure is what influences my work.”
