“On a tiny island” is a collaborative project between Ruby Que and Peixuan Ouyang. In this project, we explore the idea of loneliness and isolation through series of time-based media explorations.
Artist Statement
“On a tiny island” is a series of time-based explorations, 60 seconds each to be exact, in which Peixuan and Ruby talk to themselves, to their friends, to people they can’t reach anymore, to a world that feels increasingly distant, and to each other.
