What does it mean to come back? Was it different when you didn’t come back? For me, it was totally different than I thought. I was worried about going back to school since I left for a while but now I’m even surprised how I am living here in Chicago. After coming back, I first felt like I had to start over since I got rid of all my personal items before leaving and now I had to buy everything.

The artwork shows how I first felt after entering my new house in a year and a half. It wasn’t the house that was full with furniture and people, but empty.
