kat savage’s work shows sex workers as god-like figures situated within the framework of high-art to pay the respect owed to them. Inspired by the intertwining of religion and art, her work plunges into the divine power of female sexuality. She demands the viewer to question their own judgements surrounding sex work, challenging the Madonna-Whore Dichotomy that is built into our society.
