My work is witchcraft and alchemy. Traumas and terrors are mutated into beauty and strength, to create works that speak to what is hidden within.
My figures start from a kinetic energy felt deep in my bones. Depictions of flesh writhing in movement, overlapping and turning in on itself punctuated by uncanny symbolism. My life’s work is to disrupt art history’s violent, oppressive, and blandly one-dimensional male gaze by confronting it head-on.
