Dave J Bermingham received a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and an MDes from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He operates in the spaces between art, craft, and design, and creates work that explores the creation and perception of queer and ancestral identities on individual and societal levels. Bermingham is a cofounder of the Boston LGBTQIA Artist Alliance and the Industrial Stitchers Guild. His work has been shown in New York, Chicago, and Boston. As drag performer Aquanette Prudence Jones, Bermingham has performed gender for audiences from East Coast to Third Coast.
