Shihui Zhou is an artist who explores the cultural roots and oriental identity inspired by her upbringing. Her works span multiple mediums, including paintings, prints, accessories, and fashion design.
Shihui Zhou was born to a traditional Chinese family in the 90s and raised in Dalian, China. As a child, Shihui found immense pleasure in painting and drawing. This recreational activity soon blossomed into a passionate hobby, as her interest in artistic interpretations and figure drawings grew. She received her BFA at the Tsinghua University in Beijing before studying Fashion, Body, and Garment at School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
