Kexin’s work mostly explores feminism, anti-utopia, and Social anthropology. She used to focus more on fiction film, incorporating topics of interest into a world of fictional stories that created. She is currently experimenting with new video narratives, finding a new form of storytelling in video art, video performance. All of her works are not just about social, political and cultural issues, but about capturing the good parts of the world through these issues, even if they are ephemeral and insignificant.
