Margaux Siegel
Margaux Siegel was born in West Virginia. She received a dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degree Summa Cum Laude in Painting and Printmaking from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2015. She completed residencies in Venice and Sorrento through MICA and in New York through the School of Visual Arts (SVA) and MICA. She studied jewelry design, papermaking and digital fabrication through the Rhode Island School of Design. She has exhibited work at the World Trade Center and Area 405 in Baltimore, Maryland, and participated in SVA’s Open Studio Exhibition in Dumbo, New York. During the summer of 2020, she received a scholarship to attend Ox-Bow’s Residency Program. She is a Master of Fine Arts candidate in Painting and Drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she was awarded a Teaching Fellowship from 2019–2020. She maintains a studio practice in Chicago, Illinois.
