Kat Bawden (she/they) is an artist who explores the relationships between memory, time, the self, and the body in the aftermath of traumatic experience. Kat works in photographs, video installations, handmade books, prose, and community storytelling projects. She was awarded the SAIC photography department’s 2022/2023 James Weinstein Memorial Fellowship.
