Artist Statement
The process of exchange between people happens every minute in space and time. In order to be complete, an exchange must meet certain conditions. Exchange may come from a realization that we lack something, something which we find in others. But exchange does more than fulfill a lack: it can create new narratives and conversations.
Relationship comes later, perhaps as a consequence. Sometimes we call that “friendship” even though it happens only in a short period of time. By exploring different kinds of conditions Wa sets up conversations and activities through his practice. Nevertheless, the completion will never be found without others.
