FIRST 2017 (11"x17") Newsprint. Contemporary Practices invites their first-year students to produce a single piece of artwork for publication, and the result is FIRST, a collection of images and ideas. FIRST 2017 visually conceptualizes a student's progression of beginning in the unknown to developing a clearer artistic voice.
Folded (9"x12") Vellum, Cardstock, Board. Folded, a two-part paper and package project, utilizes the X-form span folding technique in order to create 9, distinct creature-like forms that show the beauty of tactile materials.
