Zoë Holmes is an animator and fabricator living in Chicago, Illinois. Her childhood

storytelling and world-building. Holmes uses animation to depict
interpersonal struggles as well as personal and internal exploration. She
primarily works in stop-motion animation, two-dimensional drawn animation, costume
design, and historical fashion construction. Her style varies between mediums, with
influences focused on humanity’s strengths and fallibilities, depictions of
apocalyptic experience, and visual pleasure. Her other interests include filmmaking,
community building and teaching to all ages.
