I create stories about the slippage of time and small cracks, that should contain certain information but because of a macabre trick of fate they were denied existence. I work around the constant tension between the political body and the personal body. Conflicts, borders and power meet in the body bruising it to personal, physical and social levels.

Present absences are explored through ephemeral photographic transfers on latex: decaying bodies of certain femininity. Some faces are spectral traces of light. Some others stick to the surface as if they had stubbornly decided to never ever leave.

Abstraction is a form of displacement: an accumulation of so many layers of meaning that their visual representation is reduced to a minimum. The work then becomes about the spaces in between two languages, the tension between mind and body, the fissures created by a romantic separation, the negotiation between agency and chance.
