Artist Statement
Dann Disciglio creates art that works with and against his own notions of how things function in the world. By transforming, reframing, and disassembling material — his work seeks to produce metaphor, resonance, allusion, and affect. It is through these assemblages that Disciglio attempts to make his audience come to see the world differently—ecologically, acoustically, sensibly, and ontologically—according to the framework of the artwork itself.
