William Zeng is a San Francisco based artist with a background in painting and drawing. His practice is a personal mediation of belonging, tenderness, and meaning making through painting. Zeng earned his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Practice from the University of California of Davis in the Spring of 2018. He has since worked for art organizations including Root Division, the DeYoung, and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Zeng has shown work in San Francisco and Chicago. He is currently living in Chicago, completing his Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
