The Design Show is a one-night public exhibition that features work by graduating BFA, MFA and Post-bacc designers from
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
This is a great opportunity for the Greater Chicagoland area to see design work that is both practical and conceptual, with an interdisciplinary palette of mediums, including print, digital, 2D, 3D, and objects.
Modular Structure (20" x 30") Poster. The demonstration of a well-conceived modular system is what allows a dynamic arrangement of information within a standardized spatial structure. Various graphic approaches were taken to produce an output that organize, emphasize and clarify the given material. The poster was created to provide the viewers with the necessary information on the SAIC Architecture Lecture series. The work of two lecturers, Eva Jiricna and Hitoshi Abe, were the main source of inspiration behind the graphics of the poster. I tried to capture the essence of the organic flow with some unexpected structures that avoid symmetry.
