Anna Orlikowska is a visual artist living and working in Amsterdam and Chicago. She graduated from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam (2013) before pursuing her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2014-2016). She was awarded with prizes and scholarships: Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds— Van Eck-Vollgraff Fonds (2014) and Full Merit New Artist Society Scholarship Award, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2014). The artist took part, among others, in the following exhibitions: Can you hear me, CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw (solo, 2015), Material Immaterialities, Gallery Sector 2337, Chicago (2015); Generation 2015, Looiersgracht 60, Amsterdam (2015); Open Studios, SAIC, Chicago (2014), The Eyes of the Skin, New Shelter Plan, Copenhagen (2014); What is not yet, TAC Gallery, Rio de Janeiro (2014); Graduation Show, Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam (2013); Oasis, Casa do Povo, Sao Paulo (2013). Her work has been reviewed in magazines such as ArtReview.
